Account restricted or banned

What to do if FortBux limits, mutes, locks, or bans your account.

Updated August 3, 2026

Account restricted or banned

FortBux can restrict an account when rules are broken, risk checks fail, or a balance issue needs attention. Exact messaging depends on the action taken.

Common reasons

  • Breaking on-site chat rules or Discord server rules
  • Giveaway abuse covered in Giveaway rules
  • Chargebacks or a negative balance after survey / payment reversals
  • Security or fraud reviews on deposits and withdrawals
  • Multi-accounting or other Terms of Service violations

What to do

  1. 1

Read any banner or email FortBux shows. Note the exact restriction text.

  2. 2

If your balance is negative, clear it with a deposit, skins sell, or surveys. See Earn your first Bux with surveys.

  3. 3

For chat mutes, wait out the mute and follow the rules when you return.

  4. For bans or unexplained locks, open a Discord ticket with your username, what happened, and screenshots.

Important

Do not create a second account to bypass a restriction. That can make the situation permanent.
