How wagering, XP, levels, rain, tipping, and currency display work on FortBux.
Playing with Bux
Bux is FortBux’s on-site currency. You earn it (surveys, rewards), deposit it, spend it on games, and redeem it when eligible.
You can display your balance as Bux or as Dollars. That only changes how the number is shown in the UI. You are still playing with Bux.
Hover the currency control in the navbar and pick BUX or Dollars.
Wagering and withdrawals
To withdraw, you must meet FortBux’s wager and deposit rules.
Deposit wager (1x)
You must wager 100% (1x) of each deposit before that deposit can be withdrawn.
Free rewards also roll over
Free rewards roll over too. You must wager 100% of those rewards before they can be withdrawn.
Good to know
Some special rewards use different rollover requirements. Check the reward details when you claim them.
What counts as a wager
Not every bet advances your wager progress:
- A bet only counts toward wager if it reaches at least a 1.2x multiplier.
- Anything below 1.2x does not count as wager (this helps prevent wager abuse).
Weekly deposit requirement
To withdraw, you must also deposit at least 500 Bux (about $2.50) every week.

XP and levels
Every bet earns XP, including bets below the 1.2x wager threshold.
Higher levels unlock more of the platform:
Bigger rain share
Higher levels claim more of the rain pot
Reward boosts
Level-tied boosts rolling out over time
Tipping at level 2
Send Bux to other players once unlocked
Rain
Rain is a shared pot that players can claim when it is active. All bets on FortBux contribute to rain. Every user’s play helps fill the pot.
Your level affects how large a share of the rain pot you receive when you claim.
When rain is claimable, the UI shows that it is active:

Tipping
Once you reach level 2, you can tip other players.

Open the tip flow from the UI and send Bux to another user:
Tip with chat commands
You can also tip from chat:
/tip username amount
Add hidden at the end if you do not want the tip shown publicly in chat:
/tip username amount hidden
Without hidden, the tip appears in chat for everyone to see.
Quick checklist
- Display Bux or Dollars from the navbar (same currency underneath)
- Wager 1x deposits and free rewards (special rewards may differ)
- Bets need 1.2x+ to count as wager; all bets still give XP
- Deposit at least 500 Bux / week to withdraw
- Level up for rain share, tip unlock (level 2), and future perks
- Rain is fed by all site bets. Claim when it is active
